Standard methods of toxicity testing has included exposing species of freshwater invertebrates or fish (fathead minnows) to the water sample - but these methods are far too slow for counter-terrorism monitoring and requires an increased effort to obtain results. The Microtox® technology requires minimal training for an experienced analyst and in addition, SDI provides training on how to use the system and analyze results. In the Field or In the Lab

Whether you need to run tests in the field or have multiple samples for the lab, SDI's Microtox® technology provides solutions in both situations.

The Microtox® analyzer 500 is the lab unit with a temperature controlled feature that can test and analyze up to 30 samples at once.

The Deltatox® analyzer is the portable unit providing rapid and accurate quality drinking water from the source to the tap. In addition, the Deltatox® unit can also be used to determine the total biomass present in your drinking water.
